The Branding Agency actively works within the community to help elevate and empower local students. We participate in internship programs with several North Carolina institutions, to help college students gain valuable experience, further advance their areas of study, and build valuable foundations for life-long careers.
We’re excited to introduce our most recent intern, Haley McGraw. A rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Haley is majoring in advertising and digital communications.
Please join us in welcoming Haley to the TBA team, and learn a bit more about her in the process!
Why did you decide to join The Branding Agency Team?
I initially reached out to Steve and asked if he would be interested in hiring a summer intern. I did some research on the company and was immediately interested in the idea of helping small businesses through a variety of digital services. I’ve worked at The Branding Agency for a couple of weeks now and have loved every minute of it!
What excites you most about joining The Branding Agency?
I am most excited about gaining some real-world experience during my summer internship with The Branding Agency. This will be my first time working for a marketing firm and I believe this experience will really help prepare me for life after graduation. I’m also eager to bring my experiences and what I’ve learned in my classes to TBA and hopefully be a helpful asset to the team.
What have your previous roles taught you that you think will be helpful for your new role at The Branding Agency?
Throughout my undergraduate experience, I’ve held a variety of marketing positions for campus organizations. From social media management to content creation, I’ve learned so much about digital marketing and I am excited to apply what I’ve learned in my internship position.
What led you into digital marketing?
I’ve realized, through several different courses at UNC, that I have a passion for using technology to create content and communicate with people. I’m focusing on digital marketing because I believe that in this industry I have the ability to really make a difference by producing meaningful work.
What do you like to do for fun?
When I’m not working, I love to watch sports, paint, and read. I am a huge Carolina Basketball fan. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved watching and attending all kinds of sporting events. Also, with so much time spent at home recently, I’ve been enjoying painting things for my family and friends.
